Poker Games

Poker is loved around the world and online poker is becoming more popular by the day. We have listed some of the most popular poker games that you will find on the many online poker sites.
Texas Hold'em games. This popular poker game is offered on all of the online poker sites we have visited. Certain sites have more player traffic and therefor softer competition at the Texas Hold'em tables.

Omaha poker. Omaha is the second most popular poker game to be played online, and some sites offer much better Omaha tables with more traffic and fishier competition so look around.
Seven Card Stud Poker. A popular game, enjoyed by many and this can be found on all of the sites we have visited.

Omaha Hi/Lo is the same as normal Omaha except that the pot is split in half. One half of the pot goes to the player with the best high hand, and the other half of the pot goes to the player with the best low hand.

Seven Card Stud H/L is the same as normal Seven Card Stud except that the pot is split in half again. One half goes to the highest hand, with the other half going to the lowest hand.

Five Card Draw is a traditional poker game with lots of history and a firm favourite amongst online poker players. Each player receives five cards and then gets to trade in between zero and five cards for new ones to make the best hand.

Five Card Stud Poker is about as simple as it gets. Each player receives five total cards, and the best five card hand wins. Again a very popular game with betting rounds as each player receives their cards.

Mixed Poker Games are poker variations that combine two or more games. For example, H.O. combines Texas Hold'em and Omaha. There are many different mixed games with different rules and specifications.

Deuce to Seven Draw is a ‘low’ poker game and instead of trying to make the highest five card poker hand, players have to try and make the worst popular poker hand.

Razz is another ‘low’ poker game where players try to make the worst possible five card hand. Razz is actually the same game as Seven Card Stud, minus the ‘low’ hand rankings.

We thought we would throw in Badugi Poker to the list. This is a fairly new poker game that is pretty hard to come across. The game has three draws, and upon conclusion of the draws players have a showdown. The twist is that Badugi uses different hand rankings than normal poker games. This is a fun game and worth seeking out.
